THE LAST TIME OUT
The Enforcers head into their second of three consecutive home games following a 19-7 victory over the Columbus Marauders in the 2015 Gold Star Memorial Bowl. This was a landmark win for the Enforcers, as it was the organization's first win over Columbus and head coach Greg Zaragoza's 6th consecutive Gold Star Memorial Bowl victory (6-0 all-time). The Enforcers featured a strong ground performance, paced by running back Steve Holden (22 carries, 102 yards), Chris Williams (8 carries, 31 yards), and Dave Moore (3 carries, 35 yards). Tight end Todd Burkoth also enjoyed a breakout game offensively, snagging 3 passes for 76 yards. The Enforcers defense also added a touchdown on the day, with Chris Williams recovering a fumble for a touchdown.

THE OPPONENT
CPD now shifts their attention towards the LAPD Centurions, in a game that will potentially carry NPSFL championship ramifications. The Enforcers are now 2-1 (2-1 NPSFL), and the Centurions carry in a 2-0 NPSFL record into Chicago. The Centurions were victorious their last time out, defeating the Inland Empire Enforcers 21-20 in a non-league contest. LAPD also had wins of 49-6 and 28-7 over Orange County and Philadelphia, respectively. This will be the first ever meeting between CPD and LAPD.

EMILY STRONG
In addition to the Gold Star Memorial honorees, the Enforcers will also be recognizing 12 year old Emily Beazley at the game. Emily has been courageously battling Stage III T-Cell Lymphoblastic Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma since April of 2011, and as of late has suffered a few medical setbacks. A resident of the Mt. Greenwood neighborhood, Emily's story has captured the hearts of Chicagoans and support has been rallied throughout the city and beyond. Emily, the daughter of a Chicago Police veteran, has displayed great bravery and was recently named an honorary Chicago Police officer. The Enforcers are honored to support Emily in her fight!

THE VENUE
The contest against LAPD will be taking place at Chicago's Brother Rice High School, located in the city's Mt. Greenwood neighborhood. Brother Rice has been the host of several key Enforcer games over the years, most notably the 2011 NPSFL Division II championship game. The Enforcers are 3-2 all-time at Brother Rice.

Picture
THE COACH
The Enforcers are led by head coach Greg Zaragoza, who is in the midst of his 6th season as the CPD head coach. Greg, who has a career record of 16-11, is a 20 year veteran of the CPD and a 19 year coaching veteran. In addition to his duties with the Enforcers, he has also served as a coach on the high school level at Washington, St. Francis de Sales, Chicago Christian, and Brother Rice. Greg is the Enforcers primary offensive play caller.

THE CAPTAINS
The Enforcers will be led in their tenth anniversary season by captains Jim Lazansky (OL), Will Murphy (SS), Rick Richardson (LB), Jason Slater (LB), and Bob Slechter (WR/QB).

Picture
THE JERSEYS
The Enforcers will once again be donning their alternate black jerseys on Saturday afternoon. The jerseys, commemorating the organization's tenth season of play, include the star numbers of fallen officers printed on the numbers. While many teams roll out black jerseys as a gimmick of sorts for big games, the team decided on the color black to honor those officers who have died in the line of duty.

THE NPSFL
The Enforcers are a proud member of the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL), a union of public safety agency football teams located across the United States. The teams are united in promoting a positive self-image to the public by raising funds for charity through spirited competition. The players, coaches, and staff members of each team don't play for money, but for the love of the game and the desire to help raise money for the various charities in the communities that they serve. The league is incorporated in New York State and is recognized as a not-for-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service under 501c3 statute. The league is 11 man, full contact football, operating under NCAA rules for game play.
