The Enforcers led the game 7-0 into the third quarter, but Columbus was able to capitalize on three second-half turnovers in Enforcer territory. The Enforcers were led offensively in the loss by running back Chris Williams (#21, IDOC), who was able to pick up over 100 yards on the ground. THE VENUE
The Enforcers will be hosting the Cleveland Warriors at St. Rita High School, located on 77th & Western on the city's southwest side. The Enforcers are 4-1 all time when playing at St. Rita, including a thrilling 29-26 comeback victory over the CFD Blaze in the 2011 First Responder Bowl.

THE COACH
Greg Zaragoza is in the midst of his 5th season as the Enforcers head coach (9th season on the staff overall), carrying a 12-8 career record. The 19 year CPD veteran also serves as the team's primary offensive play caller.

THE CAPTAINS
The Enforcers are led this season by captains Mike Belmontez (Offensive Line, 008th District), Aaron Chappell (Defensive Line, Unit 213), Will Murphy (Defensive Back, Unit 393), Jason Slater (Linebacker, 014th District), and Bob Slechter (Wide Receiver, 011th District).

THE WEATHER
The big talk surrounding the game in Columbus was the weather, with temperatures at kickoff reaching only 35 degrees. Additionally, both teams were hindered by continual heavy showers, compounded by driving winds. While the elements cannot be blamed for the disappointing loss, the Enforcers nonetheless hope for better conditions for the 2014 season's home opener.

THE PREVIOUS SEASON
The Enforcers are coming off of a disappointing 2013 season, which saw the team go 2-3 overall with a 2-2 record within the NPSFL. The season was highlighted with a 26-7 victory over the Cleveland Warriors and a 25-6 triumph over the Washington DC Generals in the Gold Star Memorial Bowl.

THE OPPONENT
The Cleveland Warriors begin the 2014 season 1-0, following a road victory against the Atlanta Defenders, in which they were led by quarterback Dan Ward and running back/linebacker Marcus Green. Behind a strong power running attack, the Warriors were able to defeat Atlanta 17-7.  The Warriors are led by head coach Bill Sofranko.

The Enforcers hold a 6-1 all-time record against Cleveland, including last season's 26-7 victory at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
