2012 Enforcers Coaches Bio’s
PO Greg Zaragoza
Head Coach
Greg has been with the Enforcers since the beginning, serving as a position coach as well as the team’s Offensive Coordinator. This marks his 3rd year as the team’s Head Coach. Greg has coached at the High School level since 1996 with stops as the H/C at St. Francis de Sales, as well as, serving as an assistant at SFDS, Chicago Christian and Brother Rice. Greg joined the Chicago Police Department in 1995 and currently is assigned to the 4th District.
Sgt. Tom O’Connor
Assistant Head Coach/RB’s
During Tom’s coaching career, which has spanned nearly 30 years, he has made stops at the old Mendel Catholic, as well as St. Francis de Sales where he served as Defensive Coordinator, in addition to H/C for a short time. While at SFDS, Tom led them to their 1st and only State Playoff appearance. Tom has also helped with numerous youth programs during his career. Tom works in the 12th District.
Sgt. Tim Kusinski
Defensive Coordinator
Tim is one of many members of the Enforcers Coaching Staff that has been here since the beginning. Tim has served in numerous roles on the staff, as well as in the Team’s Administration, where he is currently the team President overseeing all the team’s day to day operations. During the fall, Tim is on staff at St. Pats, where he works with the Defensive Backs. Tim is assigned to the Area 3 Detective Unit.
Kevin Bulger
Offensive Coordinator
Kevin has been with the Enforcers since we began. Being a civilian volunteering his time to the team and showing his high level of commitment to our goals, he has endeared himself to the players. Kevin has been coaching HS football in Chicago for over 25 years and is currently on staff at Brother Rice High School. Kevin owns and operates his own communications business, “Cardinal Communications”.
PO Ryan Ladd
Offensive Line
A former player for the Enforcers during our early years, Ryan moved to the coaching staff last season. Ryan was a key contributor as a starting offensive lineman and captain during his years as a player. His coaching experience has included a brief stop at St. Laurence HS and his college playing career took place at Eastern Illinois University. Currently Ryan is assigned to the 2nd District.
Sgt. Mike Ogliore
Offensive Line
Mike join the Enforcers during our 3rd season as a player and was a key contributor until moving to the coaching staff 2 years ago. During his time with the team, he has been a key component on our offensive line’s success. Currently Mike works in the Area 3 Detective Unit.
Retired CCSP Mike Hincks
Defensive Line
This will mark Mike’s third season as a volunteer civilian assistant for our team. A huge supporter of the program since our inception, Mike has become a valuable asset to our staff. A retired member of the Cook County Sheriff’s Police, Mike has been coaching HS ball for the last 10 seasons at Brother Rice HS. Mike currently operates “Hinky Dinks Tavern”.
PO Jemal King
Defensive Line
Jemal has been an important member of the Enforcers since our inception. Starting out as a stellar defensive end in our early years, Jemal has transitioned to the coaching staff in recent years. Jemal played college ball at Western Illinois University before joining the department and spends his fall coaching at the HS level. He is currently on staff at Mount Carmel HS and had a previous stop at Bogan HS. Jemal is assigned to the 6th District.
PO Mickey Keehan
Linebackers
This will be Mickey’s first season on the staff after spending the last 5 years as a player. Mickey had been a starting offensive lineman and captain during his playing days. During Mickey’s college career in Wisconsin he played LB so the transition to coaching the position now should be seamless. We are excited to welcome him to the staff, as he has always been considered one of the team’s leaders. Mickey works as a Tactical Officer in the department’s 18th District.
CCSP Joe Panatera
Linebackers
Joe is another former player who will be moving to the coaching staff for this season. Joe had been a starting inside LB for a number of seasons since joining the team 4 years ago. Joe is expected to bring the same level of intensity to the staff as a coach that he displayed as a player. This marks Joe’s first venture into coaching at any level and we are excited to have him.
Arglistas Scott
Defensive Backs
Coach Scott enters his 3rd season with the team as our defensive backs coach. His contributions have been tremendous and pivotal in making us the competitive team we have become. Coach Scott is another civilian that has accepted our organization’s purpose and goals. He is currently the Defensive Coordinator at DuSable HS and has also coached at Bogan HS. Coach Scott is a property manager when he’s not helping with the Enforcers.
PO Brian Thomas
Defensive Backs
While Brian has been a member of the Enforcers since we began as a player, Brian has been forced to move to the coaching staff as he recovers from an injury suffered last season. Brian is a welcome addition to the staff with a wealth of knowledge in the secondary. Brian’s college career was at St. Xavier University before joining the department. Currently Brian works in the 3rd District.
PO Tim Gould
Wide Receivers
Tim played with Marine Corp traveling team during his time in the service. Tim is returning for his 3rd season with the Enforcers coaching the wide receivers. Tim currently works in the 4th District.
Det. Tony Flowers
Team Manager
AKA, the “get back coach”, Tony has been with us since the start. He is one of the team’s biggest supporters and kicks in to help wherever we need him. Whether it’s to hold a bag at practice, helping to recruit a potential player or fill a water bottle on game day, Tony has proved to be one of our most valuable assets. Tony currently works in the Area 1 Detective Unit.
Sean O’Connor
Staff Assistant
This will mark Sean’s third year of helping out. Sean, who is the son of our Assistant H/C Tom, will focus on both the offensive and defensive lines. During the past fall, Sean was a Grad Assistant at Robert Morris University and has plans on moving to the HS ranks this fall. Sean played college ball at Illinois Wesleyan University and is currently working towards his Masters Degree in Education.
