LT Howard "Howie" Ross

Assignment: Cook County Sheriffs Department


​Coach Howie Ross is entering his 2nd Season with the Enforcers as an Offensive Assistant/RB coach, in addition to his 6th season with the Evergreen Park HS as the Quarterbacks coach and his 17th overall coaching High School Football. Coach Ross also served as Head Coach at Holy Trinity HS in Chicago and an assistant at Guerin Prep HS, River Grove. IL.

Coach Ross attended the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa earning a BA Sociology/Criminal Justice while being a member of the Football team.

Coach Ross has spent the last 26 years working for the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and currently is the rank of Lieutenant. Coach Ross is married to his wife Kenya and has 2 daughters 20 and 12 years old.
